If you are in the process of arranging your wedding you will probably know how important wedding favors are these days. Don't worry if you can't think of anything as there is a whole industry set up supplying treats for your guests. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day, because your favors might just be a phone call or mouse click away. To give you a preliminary taste of what is available, here are a few ideas that you may wish to consider. These are tried and tested favors that have been used to great effect, it really depends on the theme and budget of your wedding.

One option for an easy wedding favor, especially popular with the ladies, are flowers. Fortunately, as far as the bride and groom are concerned, apart from choosing which flowers to have, there is little else that needs to be done. A popular choice, is a single red rose which, as a symbol of love, is very fitting at a reception. Using a single rose per guest gives an appearance of style and the placing them, can be left to staff immediately prior to the wedding reception.

Sweets can be an easy wedding favor to arrange and there are a number of ways to give them, such as presenting each guest with a small tin or basket filled with different sweets. A simpler, but possibly more interesting method, is to present the sweets in a large glass bowl, then, provide each wedding guest with a small bag or box to place their favourites sweets in. This means that you won't have to wrap anything yourself and it should be acceptable to everyone as they get to chose only the type of sweets they like.

A novel idea that will kill two birds with one stone, is a small picture frame which can be used on the day as placeholders. This is a great idea because wrapping this type of wedding favor can put many people off, especially when there are a large number of guests. Almost all receptions have place names at the tables for the guests, so this is an ideal way to present the frame without the need to spend time and more money on wrapping paper, which will only be thrown away, and that is not very ecologically friendly.

Drinks coasters can be a useful wedding favour as they can always be a great way of remembering your special day. They come in so many different styles and materials that there must be one that is just right for you. Some can double as a photo frame which make them even more attractive.

For those of you who want something more ecologically friendly, there are a range of products available. Cards that come with flower seeds built in so that after the wedding, they can be planted to give an annual reminder of your big day, every time the flowers return. There are vegetable seeds in a fake match book so that you tear them off and plant them to get an edible memory of your wedding.

A quirky idea for your guests could be a bottle stopper. Don't dismiss this as nowadays, everybody is aware of the number of units of alcohol that should be consumed. This means that a bottle of wine may not be consumed in one night, so your gift will be perfect.

Finally, an easy, if somewhat more expensive wedding favor, is to arrange for a professional photographer to attend the wedding reception and take a photo of every couple as they arrive looking their best. It is a simple matter of bringing a printer along so the images can be printed off during the reception and are ready when the guests start to leave. It may be possible to arrange to have the photos shown as a slide show so that everybody gets to see each as they arrived at the reception.
