Every couple wants their wedding day to be a special day to remember. That is why people tend to go all-out to make the occasion so grand. There are the major aspects of the wedding such as the dress, venue, music, food, and flowers that will all make the wedding memorable, but it is often the smaller details that can make a wedding truly spectacular.
At your chosen reception venue, your coordinator will discuss color schemes with you for your tables. Unless you have a color in mind, they will often advise you go with either white or cream tablecloths and napkins, as these are neutral colors. Most brides today do have an idea for their own color schemes. It may be possible that the venue may supply the bride's color, but in the event that that is not possible, table linen can be rented in all shades from a seperate source. By ensuring that the tablecloths and napkins match, you will create a definite air of elegance to the reception hall. One thing that most people wouldn't notice, but will if it is there, is to add chair covers. They can be in either a matching or complimentary color and will definitely tie in the whole room in with the rest of the wedding color scheme.
All traditional weddings will offer water goblets on the tables. By adding a slice of lemon to each glass will give it a special touch. Likewise you could consider adding a strawberry to the champagne flutes for the wedding toast. Your guests will be impressed with these little details added to the wedding planning.
At every wedding reception it is the food that is looked forward to the most. Guests will always wait in anticipation as to the wonderous delights to tempt their taste buds with. It is now quite popular to have a cocktail hour before the main meal is served. Instead of serving the customary liquor and soda or juice why not welcome your guests with a margarita fountain. As a compliment, a small pasta station serving a few different pastas and sauces will be well received. Guests will appreciate staving of their hunger before the main meal. At the end of the meal, instead of the customary after dinner coffee, why not have a coffee buffet, where you can offer your guest different coffees. These are quite reasonably priced additions to consider and it will guarantee that your guests will comment favorably.
The best way to create and memorable and stylish wedding is to set the stage with special extras. Whether it is tying the color scheme with rented table linen and chair covers, the fruit added to the glassware or offering the drinks fountain, pasta station or coffee buffet. Any one or all of these suggestions will add style to your wedding.
