Once you are done with the purchasing with the policy, the insurance holder is given an identification card that is required to be displayed in case of and medical emergency or assistance. The insurance company will furnish such a clinic or hospital with written instructions for the likely medical expenses that can be claimed under the policy.

The visitors insurance company will then evaluate any claim that may be registered and then make the suitable payment to the clinic or the hospital under as per the policy. Some companies even allow for the possibility of injuries arising out of accidents, war or even terrorism in their policies. Either the cost that may be incurred during the treatment is reimbursed to the client or the bills may be paid directly depending on the policies of the company.
