If a person is an informant or has lied about a deed, he or she may be forcefully tattooed to show their mistakes to the world.

An art tattoo may still be considered a mark of stigma for older generations. This is especially true of more conservative individuals in their latter years of life. Younger generations are enthralled with the idea of ink marking their rites of passage from childhood to adulthood.

A respectable tattoo shop is a business and the owner would like to keep it going. The best way to do that is by providing a safe healthy environment for their customers and providing excellent service to gain new customers. Word of mouth after all is the best advertising a business can get, but bad word of mouth can seriously hurt any tattoo design shops.
