In instances like these it is best to substitute a more rigorous exercise program to compensate and learn to listen to your body and adjust your diet plan accordingly.

Building muscle is also something that can help as it is converted from fat and calories are burnt quicker with muscle but once again, not everyone is suited to certain physical activities s do not be concerned if all you can do to start with is walk.
Exercise and weight loss often mean that a great deal of body fluids are lost and need to be replaced so drink plenty of water , at least six large glasses per day and don't forget it also flushes out toxins form the body. Avoid fat drenched deep fried foods which can also mean fish and chicken if you are eating the wrong part of the animal.
Foods that are grilled are by definition, not cooked in oil or their own fat and once cooked, retain little or no fat so are better for overall health. Whilst some diets advocate a reduction in carbohydrates, this should be done in consultation with a nutritionist as carbohydrates are the fuel that creates the energy required for your body to function.
By sticking to this type of plan you can expect to lose around a pound in weight per week but bear in mind that once you stop, the weight will go back on again.
